Maria Martinez

Maria Martinez is a 24 year-old Latina of Salvadoran and Mexican descent from Southern California. Over the past four years, she has been actively involved in organizing landscape and service workers in Orange County with the Worker Student Alliance. Currently, she is pursuing a Masters in Social Work at the University of Chicago and working with the American Friends Service Committee in the fight against military recruitment of Black and Latino working class youth.
