TThe Liberatory Leadership Praxis Program Cohorts are opportunities founded by The Center for Third World Organizing (CTWO) in partnership with the Liberatory Leadership Partnership (LLP). The cohorts seek to support Black-led projects/formations in their founding stages (years 0-5).
Participants receive support, including coaching, organizational development, and a financial stipend. Praxis’s vision is to assist its participants in developing as liberatory leaders and to continue creating projects/formations that will move us closer to liberation.
Liberatory Leadership theory and practice invites us to lead from a place of wholeness, love, and interdependence. By valuing celebration over competition, we are able to access possibilities that can only emerge in community. The practice of liberatory leadership flourishes when we create space for rest, when we address power differentials in service of justice, and when we center those at the margins within our organizations and our work.
The Center for Third World Organizing (CTWO) proudly announces the 2025-2026 Liberatory Leadership Praxis Vision Cohort Program.
The Liberatory Leadership Praxis Vision Cohort is a one-year program for (5) Black-led projects/formations in the founding stages (years 0-5).
The program will begin in October with our kick-off on Saturday, October 11th (12pm-4pm EST).

watch: our Living liberation virtual conference
Let’s talk about LIBERATION–All of our 2022 Living Liberation videos are available to watch on our website!
If you were able to attend both days or couldn’t make it to the conference, you can access our event page and check out the resources provided by panelists for both days. This conference sprang from a need for supporting the development and growth of liberatory organizations.
Living Liberation was a group effort, a vision that could not have been turned into reality without the hands-on support from organizations like the Leadership Learning Community, Social Insights, Robert Sterling Clark Foundation and many others within our Liberatory Leadership Praxis network. We also want to express our gratitude to our incredible panelists doing the incredible work to make liberation for our communities a reality.
